During my maternity leave, I had a realization that changed everything. So many mothers were searching for work that allowed them to care for their families build meaningful, sustainable careers. But most opportunities available didn’t reflect that reality. They required long hours, rigid schedules, or sacrifices no mom should have to make. I knew there had to be a better way — a path that honored both ambition and motherhood.
When I first entered the tech world, I noticed how few women were represented — especially moms. Many believed breaking into tech meant learning to code or earning an expensive degree. But that’s not true. Through software testing, women can build incredible tech careers without needing to become programmers. It’s a skill-based, growing field where curiosity, detail, and problem-solving thrive — all qualities women already excel at.
QA Queens exists to empower women with real tools, real mentorship, and real confidence. It’s more than a program — it’s a movement designed to open doors for moms and women everywhere who are ready to step into tech on their own terms.
